Isn't it interesting how things like vaccinations, rules, and laws spring from the fear of death and judgment? How different is the contrast between the fear of sin and death and the gospel message which says that in Him we have all died. I look and know that I am not physically dead at this moment, and yet here is a message that tells me that I am dead already. And even though there is still physical life here in my body, I know that it certainly won't last forever.
That would seem kind of pointless, trying to hold onto something that will ultimately be lost or even trying to preserve something which is already gone, wouldn't it?
